The Throne of Bricks minifgs have arrived!

Our long awaited minifigs have finally arrived!  It took 3 months and a lot of blood sweat and tears, but our Throne of Bricks line is finally complete and up for sale on our website.  The minifigs all have great original artwork by our favorite artist Myron McMillin and all of the printing was done by Citizen Brick.  Also, every piece we have used is LEGO Brand to maintain the highest possible quality.  A Throne of Bricks Series 1 includes (from left to right): Warden of the North, Underfoot, Queen of Dragons, The Bastard, and The Imp.

I will post individual pictures of all of the minifigs later tonight and tomorrow.  Those pics will show all of the great little details on each minifig.

Want to build Iron Man's Labratory?

Have you ever wanted to build Iron Man's Laboratory LEGO has made a handy instruction sheet on how to build one.  With their design there is a place for every type of armor, lots of helpful mechs and a staging area where Tony Stark suits up.  Its a cool design, cool enough that I wish they would have made it an actual boxed LEGO set.  You can download the full instruction .PDF right here.  Have fun.

LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia Quick Review

We received out copy of the new LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia today in the mail from Amazon.  The book was just released by DK who makes all of the other official LEGO books.  Its a medium sized hardcover with a retail price of $18.99 USD.  I personally ordered my copy through Amazon Prime and it was only $12.45 which was a pretty good deal.

The book has a nice thick hard cover and includes the 162nd Collectable Minifigure built right into it.  The Toy Soldier can only be acquired through this book which isn't a big deal for me.  I generally like collecting these books and they are nice to check out once in a while.

The inner pages have a lot of fun info.  They list things like "Mini Facts" and "Did You Know?" in little bubbles.  The thing I like most about the book are the great, colorful pictures, they really pop out at you and you can see all of the great details of the minifigs.

All in all, its a must have if you love LEGO and these great Collectable Minifigures.  You can follow this link for a great deal from Amazon, at $12.45 USD, you cant lose.

Cool Minifigure of the Week: Superman

I know the Cool Minifigure of the Week posts have been very Super Hero Heavy, but the heart wants what the heart wants, right?  This Superman Minifig is great, I love the classic look and the new hairpiece made especially for the Man of Steel.  He is included in set 6862 - Superman Vs. Power Armor Lex.  The set also includes Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor Minifigures.  Here is the link if you would like to pick one up on

Note: This is the first picture I have taken in my new photo booth set up.  Not bad, eh?

An Iron Patriot Minifigure is being released?

Ok, what do you want first, the good news or the bad news?

Welp, I'll start with the good news.  LEGO is releasing an Iron Patriot Minifigure!  And by the way, it looks great.

Now the bad news.  As of right now the only way to get it is by Pre-ordering The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game at Walmart. Yes, Walmart of all places, not Amazon, not Gamestop, not Best Buy.  Walmart.  I know some people do, but the vast majority of people who pre-order games do it elsewhere.  And the game doesn't come out until October when the Iron-Man 3 movie is out right now, so the timing seems really off.  None of it makes sense.

Blast From The Past: Lion-O

Thundercats Ho!  We made Lion-O back in 2010, and only about 50 of them were produced.  They were mainly sold at the Brickworld event in Chicago.  Our artist Myron did a great job on his all original art and that LEGO Brand sword worked perfectly.  We dont currently have any plans on making more, but you never know.  Do any of our fans reading this have one?
