Our favorite mech designer pasukaru76 is from Heidelberg, Germany and has been making these sharp little mechs. Here are a couple of his latest creations.

He has a lot more cool creations that you can check out here.
Here in Michigan winter seems to be hanging on with a kung fu death grip, so I wanted to post something to help shake off those winter blues. Around here you know it's officially summer when you hear the somewhat obnoxious musical rendition of "Turkey in the Straw" blaring through the neighborhood with kids chasing behind a brightly colored truck. Even I must admit to getting a little excited when I hear it for the first time. I found a surprising amount of ice cream truck awesomeness, and wanted to share them with you.
Flickr user chiukeung created this Iron Man Mark I from the first Iron Man movie. Not only is it a great model but he was nice enough to make this cool instruction sheet so everyone can make their own! You can check out some of his other MOCs here.
We love mechs. This fast food themed Battlemech aptly named The Big Mak is one of the all-time favorites at miniBIGS. It was created by Sean and Steph Mayo and donated to Creations for Charity, a fundraiser where LEGO builders donate their creations to raise money to purchase LEGO sets for underprivileged children. Unfortunately we did not discover this deliciously awesome mech until after the auction was closed. Now we will just have to jealously gawk at the pic. Oh and just in case the pic isn't enough they also made a video commercial, check it out here The Big Mak commercial.
I saw these amazing Iron Man 3 Helmets on Flickr. He made great use of those metallic gold pieces, and they even open up. They were created by Mr. Attacki and you can check out his other creations here. I wish I could get my hands on one.
